Chancellor Michael F. Collins talks about the resiliency of the UMass Medical School community in his weekly video address on April 21, detailing the many ways in which faculty, students and staff are working together to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and continue the operations of UMMS.
He noted how MD/PhD students presented an online research forum about the disease and others have organized donation drives for personal protection equipment. The new was launched. And the clinical partners of UMMS continue to serve patients.
鈥淓ach of these efforts demonstrates a certain resilience, a characteristic that all of us will need as we continue to face challenging decisions in the days and weeks ahead,鈥 Chancellor Collins said.
